Vertical Grinding Mill Introduction:

Vertical Grinding Mill is a new kind of large scale powder mill which is designed specially to solve the problems of low capacity and high consumption of industry mills. Working principles of the Vertical Mill CLM:

The motor dives the grinding table to turn through the speed reducer. At the same time, hot air comes into the roller mill from the air inlet. The materials fall down the centre of grinding table from the feeder. Because of the centrifugal force, the materials move to the edge of grinding table form the centre. The materials are crushed by the grinding roller when by pass of the groove on the grinding table. The crushed materials continue to move to the edge of the grinding table until taken away by the airstream. Then the bigger materials fall down the grinding table and the process of crushing continues. When the materials in the airstream pass the separator on the top of the mill, the materials fall down the grinding table from the taper filler under the force of guide leaf blade. The fine powder comes out with the airstream, and is gathered by the dust catcher of the system. The powder gathered is the final product of roller mill. In the process of the contact of airstream, the materials are dried to meet the clients’ need at the proper moisture. Through the adjustment of the angle between the separator and the leaf of wind’s direction (not suitable to the small type of vertical mill), and also the speed of the separator rotor, it can reach the proper fineness of the materials.

Structure and function of CLM vertical mill:

The main structure consists of separator, roller, mill table,pressurization device, deceleration machine, motor, shell body, etc.

Separator is an important part which determines the size of the final powder. It is composed of gearing with adjustable speed, rotor, guiding vane, shell body, cone filler for coarse powder, blower.It is a kind of powder collector with high-efficiency, low power consumption and convenience.

Roller is the main part to grind the materials into powder. It is equipped in the curving arm of the mill. In virtue of the outside force, it pressed the materials on the table tightly. Driven by the mill table, the roller runs, so the materials are grinded into pieces.

The mill table is fixed at the output shaft of the deceleration machine. At the upside of the table is the hopper with an annular groove in which the materials are grinded.

The pressurization device brings the grinding pressure. It contains oil pressure station, pull rod of hydraulic pressure jar, accumulator etc. The device can brings enough pressure for grinding.

Deceleration machine carries power. The rotate speed of the mill table is the machine’s output speed.

Working Flow:

According to the position of humidifier and dust collector, our company can provide 2 allocation : three blower systerm and double blower systerm. This vertical grinder collect the finised products by whirlwind dust catcher. This configuration can reduce the working negative pressure and the volume of gas which through the dust catcher. In vertical grinder can use electrical dust catcher, also bag dust catcher as terminal dust removal plant. By using the electrical dust catcher and bag dust catcher,the gas can directly go from griding into dust catcher. This construction can reduce the quantity of equipments and also simplify the allocation.

1.Low Operation Cost
(1) High grinding efficiency .The roller mill use rollers and stuff cover to grind material , Low energy consumption , the power consumption of grinding system is lower 40% to 50% than ball mill grinding system . With the humidity of raw materials increased, energy-saving effect is more significant.
(2) Low metal consumption , the special texture linings and rollers with long life and high utilization reduces operating costs.
(3) There is an external circulation installation , which can reduce powder consumption further.
(4) The feeding size of material is big ,which can reach to 5% of rollers’ diameter , it is 40 ~ 100 mm gernally .so large and medium-sized roller mill can dispense with the secondary crushing.

2. Low Construction Cost
(1) The roller mill has simple process,Comparing with ball mill,land use can be reduced by 50%,civil construction cost can be reduced by 70%,low land use , low construction use.
(2) Because of the integration of crushing ,drying , grinding and classification , the system is simple, the layout is compact.The equipment may be erected in the open air which can save the civil construction cost.

3. Easy and reliable operation
(1) Equipment is equipped with automatic control devices , remot control can be realized ,the operation of equipment is easy and simple.
(2) The equipment has a device which prevents direct contact between the roller hard surfacing and the lining plates on the mill table.

4. High drying capacity. Roller mill use gas to transports materials .It can control the inlet temperature when grinding larger moisture materials ,which can make our products reach the final moisture. Roller mill can dry the materials whose moisture can be as high as 12 ~ 15% .Even to dry ball milling, only can dry the materials with 3 ~ 4% water.

5. Stable roducts quality,uniform particle size distribution Retenion time in mills is short ,control and the detection of product size and stone composition are made easy.

6. Convenient maintenance .Bt turining the rockeras well as oil jack maintenance ,the hard surfacing and lining and plates can be maintained within short time.
